How to use
- Sugar paste is always applied against the hair.
- The paste is removed in the direction of hair growth.
- Movements when applying the paste should always be gentle and flexible.
- Movements when removing the paste should always be precise and quick.
- Before removing the paste, the skin over the treated area should be taut, this will help avoid "sticking" and reduce painful sensations.
- After removing the paste, always touch the skin surface with your free hand, this will reduce and disperse painful sensations ("anti-stress" movement).
- Do not treat the same area of skin more than 3 times to avoid damaging it.
- Do not apply the paste to areas with obvious skin alterations and neoformations.
- To achieve maximum effect, it is recommended to mix different types of paste in the proportions required according to the temperature of the professional's hands, the client's body temperature, as well as the humidity of the air and the temperature of the room.
Precautions
The main mistake that beginner beauticians make when working with sugar paste: the "stickiness" of the sugar paste!
Methods for correcting this mistake:
Option 1: Stretch the skin firmly over the sticky area and quickly remove the paste with a dry movement.
Option 2: Apply an additional amount of talc over the sticky area, stretch the "stuck" paste over the previously talcated area and remove the paste from the sticky spot with a dry motion.
Option 3: Add a new piece of paste to the sticky spot, stretch over the "stuck" area and remove with a dry motion.
